On May 7th, 2024, SAAPRI team and board members both attended Mayor Brandon Johnson’s celebration of AANHPI month.
This AANHPI month, we want to recognize not only SAAPRI’s accomplishments but also highlight the community organizations that are doing the work behind-the-scenes to ensure that each community receives the recognition they deserve.
We also want to celebrate our team members whose advocacy and passion shine through their work. Our cultural identity is a mix of our lived experiences and traditions that we are exposed to throughout our journey as young adults. Each of our team members and supporters understand the value of their heritage and traditions, and these experiences serve as the driving force behind their ambitions, continuing to drive the community forward in the process.
