On March 20th, 2021, SAAPRI, along with many other Asian American community organizations, hosted a statewide vigil in dedication of the Georgia shooting victims with appearances from Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton and Congressman Chuy García.
The Asian American Caucus is horrified by the Georgia shooting on March 16th, 2021. The increase in anti-Asian attacks have been fueled by xenophobic and racist misinformation. We stand together against hate and violence everywhere.
