Megha Khanna

Democracy & Civic Engagement Intern

Megha is a Ph.D. student in Digital History at Clemson University. Her research explores gender, colonialism, and the historical marginalization of courtesans in South Asia. She uses archival sources and digital tools like GIS mapping to study histories of displacement and resistance.

She joined SAAPRI because she’s passionate about applying her academic and policy background to support advocacy and community-based work. She’s excited to contribute to efforts that amplify South Asian voices.
