Illinois Governor Quinn’s office is hosting an exhibit from May 20 to 24, 2013 to commemorate 150 years of Asian Americans in Illinois. SAAPRI’s contribution to the exhibit highlights the past and present issues facing South Asian Americans in Illinois. Attend the opening event on May 20 at 10:30 a.m. and visit the exhibit throughout the week at the James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago. For more details, click here.
