On January 23rd, 2024, SAAPRI was glad to join our partner organizations CASL, AFIRE Chicago, Apna Ghar, Indo-American Center (IAC), and Hanul Family Alliance & leaders in sharing the release of Change Insight‘s second report at a press conference at Impact House, Chicago. Detailed data and insights on the well-being of our communities across Chicago as well as recommendations to act on the findings were shared.
With the South Asian diaspora being one of the fastest growing ethnic communities across the country, SAAPRI is a strong proponent of data disaggregation to be able to take into account our communities’ growing needs and challenges. We are glad to partner with Change InSight, a social determinants of health (SDOH) data platform documenting the needs of AAPI and NHPI communities.
