On October 15th, 2022, SAAPRI’s Executive Director Shobhana Verma attended the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) Region 6 Conference at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, focused on building interconnectedness within the AANHPI community. The conference brought together a panel of speakers, both within and outside of medicine, who will host conversation on how to build the AANHPI community after fragmentation over the last couple years.
