SAAPRI Discusses Language Access on TV Show

On Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 pm (and re-airing again on Monday, November 3 at 10:00 pm), SAAPRI’s Ami Gandhi will appear on the TV show You and the Law on Chicago Access Network Television (CAN-TV Channel 21) to discuss problems and solutions for Chicagoans with limited English proficiency who need access to the legal system. Melanie Grant, Latinos with Disabilities Project Attorney at Equip for Equality, also joined the conversation on the TV show produced and hosted by the Chicago Bar Association.

SAAPRI’s Ami Gandhi serves on the State of Illinois Task Force on Language Access to Government Services and the Chicago Mayor’s Office Language Access Advisory Committee.
