On June 12th, 2013, the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law hosted a public hearing at DePaul University College of Law, 25 East Jackson Blvd., Room 341 to discuss recent problems and successes in Illinois elections, positive and negative experiences with different aspects of voting, including registration, early voting, lines on election day, or language assistance, etc. SAAPRI and other community leaders spoke along with other community members, advocates, and election officials.
